Once my friend Maggie landed a job at the newly open Goorin Brother's Hat Shop, I knew that I had to visit. What pushed me farther to visit? The in house hat steamer.
Located right next to American Apparel on South Congress, this little gem is out of this world. Filled with vintage hat boxes and typewriters, the store makes you want to be from a different decade. From Panama fedoras to 1920's cloche hats, they carry them all.
Hat pins made from vintage buttons and feathers to add on to your hat.
From pristine white hat boxes to tucked away type writers, Goorin's has the store decor down.
Just a taste of the old time decor around the store.
Start the mix with a Printed Maxi Dress by Costa Blanca Collection
Add on the Orange Omara Portuondo Hat or Grey Ginger Hat from the Goorin Bros.
Sprinkle on a Jade Green Cascading Tear Drop Necklace and a few matching bracelets.
Carry on with a Old Leather Bucket Bag from mom's closet.
Pull on Bright Cobalt Blue Heels for a hint of a surprise.
Aside from selling these luxurious hats, the store will also be hosting socials on Thursday's after hours. Pop into the store and fill out a Customer Comment Card to get the latest news on your favorite hat shop.
