    BBQ-Boogie

Being from Texas, let alone Austin means you have to eat at Saltlick BBQ at least once a year. And by Saltlick I mean the original restaurant out in Driftwood, Texas where the air smells like sweet, sweet, meaty salvation. From the outdoor vineyard across the gate to the famously crafted BBQ, there is nothing more a girl could ask for. When I heard we were making the treck to Driftwood, I couldn't help but get excited as you can see by the touch of burnt cowboy boots.

Start the day off write with a vintage blue and white Striped Button-Down Dress.

Tuck it all in with nude Cat Eye Sunglasses, a Rad Red Leather Side Bag from Coach, and some seriously useful Pockets.

Dance around in the Cowboy Boots that were "made for walking running quickly to BBQ".

Tie it all together with a vintage Patterned Scarf buried in your mother's closet and an Open Back Cut Out.

Add a touch of color by adding a Red Skirt from American Apparel underneath.

Brighten up the day with brighter than the sun Red Lips.

And get excited for one hell of a meal courtesy of Saltlick BBQ and the state of Texas, y'all.

Walking into BBQ perfection. If only I could take a photo of the smell.

BYOY learned and T-shirt Swag for the seasoned veterans of this joint.

Homestyle cooking comes with a homestyle atmosphere of wood ceilings, picnic tables, and white strung lights.

Indulging in a bit of Blue Moon's Summer Pack. Up first? Agave Wheat.

There really isn't much to say. It came on a mint green plate which just pushes the point home.

Adult plate versus the child plate.

Though it is in Driftwood, everyone should make the drive right meow.

    eat well&live accordingly,
